“Before U Cho received a Mobility Cart he had to use an old walker. However, he was only able to use the walker around his compound because if he walked longer distances, his knees and hips would cause him pain. He could not afford to buy a wheelchair though because he is very poor.
“I would like to pass on feedback about the wheelchair fitting training we had in Yoon Monastery Pariyatti Sarthintike, Thayet Province, Kamma Township, Magway Division, Burma.
“Between October 15-16th, we gave out 13 wheelchairs during the two-day training. We trained 64 people and they are from 5 originations: Myaunt Chaung Rescue Team, Linn Myitta Youth Charity Group, Thukihita Rescue Team, Ayate Thit Rescue Team and Myitta Young Zin Charity Group.”
